SCAD FASH X Invitation design:

Create a meticulously designed invitation card for the SCADfash fashion exhibit hosted at the Savannah College of Art and Design, featuring the renowned Indian designer "Sabyasachi Mukherjee." This event will be prominently advertised on SCAD's website and through an exquisitely crafted invitation. The invitation design will employ sophisticated pre-production techniques like foiling, embossing, and die-cutting to capture the elegance of the event.

Goal

One of the most fascinating aspects of this project was its creative process. It all started with an in-depth research paper delving into the designer's life, style, and the symbolism present in his work. This comprehensive exploration included a study of his personal history, stylistic approach, and the recurring symbols and motifs in his designs.

Following the research phase, the project transitioned into the brainstorming and sketching stage. These initial ideas were then refined through the creation of digital layouts and color compositions. After finalizing the digital designs, the project advanced to the intricate stages of foiling and die-cutting.

A key element of the designer's collections was the recurring use of floral patterns. As a tribute to his stylistic approach, the invitation featured a meticulously crafted pop-up floral motif.

Each component of this intricate floral design was created piece by piece and skillfully assembled to represent the essence of the designer's work
